The Premier International Account application and what happens next
The Lloyds TSB Premier International Account allows crew to have access to their money anywhere in the world whilst keeping their money in one place. They offer the account in sterling, euro and US dollar with one easy application.
To set up your Premier International Account, you need to fill out a simple form and send us some documents. Once we've received your documents, we'll get your account up and running so you can enjoy life on the open sea.

1) Ensure you have your details ready
You'll need:
- details of your income, including salary and investments
- your existing bank account details
- details of your addresses over the last 3 years
- your current passport or identification card number
2) Complete the application form
Print out the application form and complete it by hand — this takes about 20 minutes for each applicant. Both applicants will need to sign the form.
3) Send us some supporting documents
You'll need to send us:
- Proof of identity
- Proof of address
- Proof of income in the form of a captain's letter
Please email us for further details in connection with your proof of address as we understand being crew this can be difficult to prove and we are happy to provide a template for the captain's letter.

4) We'll open your account straight away
Once we've received your application and supporting documents, we'll open your account straight away.
If we need any more information before opening your account, we'll contact you by phone or email.
5) We'll send you a welcome letter and your debit cards and cheque book
After your account is set up, we'll send you:
- a welcome letter
- your debit card(s)
- your cheque book (only available to sterling account holders)
