1) Ensure you have your details ready

Before you start you'll need to provide the following details:

  • Proof of identity — either a black and white certified copy of your passport or driving licence. Remember to certify your documents and include the contact details of the certifer.
  • Proof of address — e.g. a recent utility (gas or electricity) or telephone bill (not a mobile phone bill).
  • Existing bank account details, pay slips or employer's letter if requesting debit card(s).
  • Income details in the form of recent 6 months consecutive active bank statements — original or certified copies.

Please note that original copies of documents (e.g. bills) will not be returned to you. All copies of documents must be correctly certified.

Please be aware that any missing or incomplete documents will cause a delay in your application.

3) Post the completed form

4) What happens next?

  • If Lloyds TSB Offshore Limited needs further information they will contact you directly within 5 working days of receiving your application from us.
  • Once your application is complete you will receive a welcome pack — don't forget to complete your Internet Banking and Offshore PhoneBank registration.
  • Debit card sent (if requested) — within 10 working days of your account being opened.
  • Cheque book sent (if requested) — within 10 working days of your account being opened.
