How to apply

For customers who are new to us

It's simple to apply online for one of our investment funds.

As a customer who's new to us, you can apply online, and then you just need to print, sign and send your application, payment and a couple of documents to us.

1) Ensure you have your details ready

You'll need:

  • Your bank details.
  • If you are applying for the Offshore Gilt Fund and you are resident in the EU or UK you will need your tax identification number.

2) Complete the application form

You will find the online application forms on the relevant product information pages.

3) Print and sign the application and payment documents

Application form

Once you have completed the form online, you can print out your application pack for signing and sending. Alternatively, you can choose the option for us to send them to you for free. You will also receive a copy by email.

Payment
  • If you are sending a cheque, instructions are provided on the form and are also emailed to you.
  • If you are transferring money electronically, simply print out the pre-filled form, sign it and send it to your bank. Alternatively, select the option for us to post it to you free of charge.
  • If you are making regular payments into a fund you will need to print and sign the pre-filled direct debit forms. You can also select the option for us to post this to you free of charge.

Post your signed application form, your cheque (if applicable) and your signed direct debit form (if applicable) to the address below.

Remember, if you are making a payment by an electronic bank transfer form, you will need to send this directly to your bank.

4) Send us some supporting documents

You will need to send us:

  • Proof of identity
  • Proof of identity for any additional fund holder
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of address for any additional fund holder

Once you have completed the application you will be able to print out guidance on what proofs are required and accepted, these will also be emailed to you. You can also see our supporting documentation section for more details.

You will need to send the documents, along with your signed application, cheque (if applicable) and your signed direct debit form (if making regular savings) to:

5) What happens next?

  • You will receive an email within 15 minutes of submitting your application confirming your application has been received.
  • Once your signed application and your documents have been received and we have received cleared funds, the deal will be placed. Deals are placed only upon receipt of cleared funds and prices are calculated at the next valuation point after receiving these.
  • You will receive a contract note by post within 3 days of the deal being placed.
  • You will receive your welcome letter by post within 1 week of the deal being placed.
