Lloyds TSB ClickSafe secure Internet shopping

Lloyds TSB Clicksafe provides cardholders with added security when purchasing over the internet. The service allows you to choose a personal password to ensure that only you can make purchases with your card when shopping online.

It's free of charge and takes only a few moments to register.

Why is it happening?

Online shopping is becoming an increasingly popular way to make purchases and Lloyds TSB ClickSafe has been created to give you additional protection against card crime.

How does it work?

Just as you would sign a card receipt in a shop or enter a PIN number Lloyds TSB ClickSafe mimics this process over the internet by providing a digital receipt that you sign with your own personal password.

Each time you use your card for online purchases with participating retailers you'll be asked for your password to confirm the transaction. We will check the personal password is correct every time you make a purchase.

How do I register?

The service is currently available for most Lloyds TSB credit cards, and will be updated later this year to include more Lloyds TSB credit cards. Clicksafe is not available on the Lloyds TSB Rewards American Express® Credit Card. You will be informed if your card is not part of the scheme when you enter your credit card number on the registration pages.
