Are you eligible?

You can apply for the account if:

  • You are a personal customer, aged 18 or over.

    • and

  • You can deposit a minimum of £10,000 in the account.

What you need:

  • A valid email address.
  • Your address(es) for the last 3 years.
  • If you need a joint account: all of the above for the second applicant.

The online form takes about 15 minutes.

There are 7 steps.

Time limit: To keep your details secure, there's a 15 minute time limit for each step. If you go over the limit, you'll need to begin again.

What happens next?

  1. Once you submit your application, we'll email you a confirmation.
  2. We'll review your application within 2 working days and email you a list of supporting documents we need in order to open your Fixed Term Deposit.
  3. Once we've received your supporting documents and deposit, we will open your Fixed Term Deposit and send you a welcome letter within 5 working days.
