**AER - AER stands for Annual Equivalent Rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once each year. As every advert for a savings product will contain an AER - Annual Equivalent Rate - you can compare more easily what return you can expect from your savings over time.

You need to be an Executive Platinum Account customer to hold this account. Interest is paid annually on the anniversary of the account opening or monthly on the same date. All new accounts opened will receive an introductory bonus of 0.25 p.a. AER/Gross payable for 12 months from date of account opening on balances over £250. Interest rates may vary from time to time.
